What is a snag list?
A snag list is a comprehensive list of building defects internally and externally within your home before the purchase is finalised on items such as:

Why do I need a snag list?
A snag list is required so that you are receiving a house that is snag free without defects. without Snag Free’s inspectors’ construction experience many snags maybe missed and could cause a lot of issues after you move in. Once you receive the keys the builder will not accept a snag list so it is important to snag the home in full before moving in.

How long will it take?
A snag list inspection will take 1-2 hours depending on the size of building

What happens after the snag inspection is complete?
We will send a detailed snag list to you and your building contractor within 24 hours. Upon receiving the list the contractor will get working on closing out each snag as soon as possible. Once all snags are complete the contractor will communicate that the home is ready for sign off. A follow up de snag can be carried out by the home owner or by our surveyors at an extra cost.
